if you high like the sky i'm above pluto.
to me music itself can feel better than anything. this is mostly an effect of live music but even just listening through a stereo can send shivers down my spine and give me a perma-grin. it doesnt matter what kind of music im listening to as im about as diverse as it gets as far as taste.

wondering if other people are effected by music as powerfully as this. im talking real physical feelings of euphoria.
share your experiences and just show love for the greatest thing ever to come out of human civilization, music!

PS: i put this is NEMD since most music isnt electronic, but that doesnt mean EDM isnt included here.

These type of threads occasionally boil down to a simple free post of someone posting the title of a song they like. So I would hope some discussion will follow and explanations.

Here's a very similar thread

I'll leave yours on it's own and not merge it for now as yours is more specific to euphoria than just any or all kind of emotional feeling.
Though, I could merge it for you if you see no difference.

I've had had moments the moments you have, random at that. I can be chilling, then I really focus on the music, experience an "omg this shit is awe-mazing. Happens more often with music I haven't listened to in. A really long time

^yes it seems like you know what i mean, happens out of the blue.

and @Laika if its alright id prefer this to stay separate because the effect im trying to describe really honest to god feels like its a drug. id compare it to the first alerts/coming up period of MDMA or LSD where youll get shivers of good vibes every so often and you just cant help but smile =)

i know what your talking about

the ephoria i get from music is ausome but i only get it from certain song i particuly like and only get it till the song gets old but. a also espesially love lisening to music while backed because of double ephoria from the weed and music plus the music seems slower and 1000 times better

Live Music. You know that moment the first chord is struck and the amplifiers seem impossibly loud and everything else is drowned out except for the music and the vibrations in your chest?

If that shit isn't euphoric I don't know what is.

yeh occassionaly if there is a song that is REALLY in tune with me, lyrics/melody/harmony wise it feels like a strong roll for a few mins

its been too long though

Oh yeah I get the goose bumps sometimes. Ironically I find hip hop has the most power to do this for me. The right combination of beat and lyrics can be overwhelming.

last week, in the bus, i look out to the window while listening to heavy metal on my headphones, Im an anxiety sufferer but that day i feel everything look so beautiful, i feel so good and then I had a rush that started in my head and went down through my body. It lasted about a minute. It blew me away! Felt like an mdma / morphine, I'm wondering if thats what it was. It was like I focused on the music, and was taken away by it.
and yes, i'm talking about real phsycal feeling of euphoria.

note : i'm not using any drugs

I always get rushes from Ozric Tentacles. I believe Ed Wynne spends a lot of time perfecting non drug induced euphoria.

ComfortablyNumb95 : can you explain the details ?

Velmwend : what I mean is Physical Euphoria. I feel like orgasm in my back. do you?

I would have never made it through my recovery without music.

First time I heard a tune minus the opiates was NiN cover of 'Dead Souls' by Joy Division - those guitar chords got me to a place that drugs never have.

Music has gotten me to the highest highs, and the lowest lows -- more than drugs ever have. And that is saying a lot.

it's an unexplainable feeling man.
sometimes I'dl be listening to death metal and headbanging like mad to the music and feeling this incredible energy throughout my body and feel like I can do anything.
other times I'm listening to some uplifting psytrance or some prog/fusion metal and I get these eargasms where I feel very light and have these waves of pleasure/euphoria all over my body but especially in the chest. and also I feel like I'm synched with the beauty of the very essence of the world Andexperience very pleasurable chills down my spine and all over my whole body.
like I stayed before it's like being"high on beauty"
