i wasn't there.
a beautiful day, running into beautiful night, and at last the stars come out to laugh at me again from oh so far away.
their biting laughter makes me sick.
i walk away with a promice of another night, but it falls out of my pocket where i so carefully hid it, and it runs away.
the trees tell me of the lovely time they had the other night, all the new colours they found and the wonderful things they discovered.
i wasn't there.
