Heroin No real euphoria from snorted heroin?

Recently, I've started snorting some heroin now and then. Now I knew not too expect MDMA-like childish euphoria but I was disappointed to find out that I get little to almost no euphoria from it. I love the nodding and the relaxed feeling it gives you but it doesn't exactly make me happy.

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to increase euphoria?

And before you ask, yes it's genuine heroin. I've seen other people go nuts over it.

some people get euphoria from stimulants, others from downers. I suspect you're just in the former camp. I got plenty euphoric from snorting heroin when I was younger.

Yeah, I thought it would be something like that. I have lots of experience with codeine and I've never really gotten euphoric from it.

Are there things I can do to improve euphoria? Combine it with another substance or so?

Uh, do more? But if your doing enough to nod out, then you do not need more! If you dont like it then heroin is not for you and consider yourself lucky and move on!!!!

What grumpy wookie said, because before you know it, you'll start getting sick and needing it. Opiates are very subtle. As far as mixing something else with it, maybe smoke some herb but try not to mix any other downers like alcohol or benzos with it because of respiratory depression.

yeah i hear ya. i did not do H for about 7 years and this past weekend got some. i was a past shooter and i did IV the H and it was unbelievable. the next day i did not want to shoot so i snorted the same batch and it was about 1/4 the potency. i basically felt nothing compared to the same about as IV'ing it.

now i DO NOT recommend that you shoot it but it hits you a LOT harder. my thing is hydrocodone but it has been super dry lately.

no offense man but you have made like 16 posts so far and about all of them are the exact same thing in other threads man try to change it up and he didnt ask what shooting was like nor did he ask your personal story and you didnt even answer his question or attempt to answer it so why even post? just to tell some more people that you didnt enjoy snorting since you shot and you like hydro's?

There is no real answer to this OP. Some people get more euphoria than others. You can try taking more but if you don't feel it at doses that you are nodding at I don't think you can expect much more and it would be more dangerous. No way it will ever feel like MDMA as well.

Not really enjoying opioids until you are more experienced with them and can notice the more subtle qualities is common. Plus if you read this thread (The Basic Biology of Drug Addiction) you can see that a lot of people's enjoyment of a drug comes from their habitual reinforcement usage of it.

If you are nodding on heroin than you are using it correctly, and if you aren't feeling as much euphoria as you want then there isn't much you can really do (besides shoot it or get addicted...both horrible ideas).
