Bluelight Crew
Well, here it is. One of my favorite forums. I find that Words, in it's soft and quiet rigidity, can truly have a malleable tone, depending on whose thread you enter. Behind one click lies adventure, whimsy and derring-do, while another person's world may lie hanging in the darkness of their sorrow and regret. No matter what you read, the honesty of the human condition truly rings through due to the dedication of the moderators(and accomplished wordsmiths in their own right) liquidphil1, Mehm, and Mynameisnotdeja, the latter of them delivering unto you this introduction, in her own words:
Words are amazing. A proper combination of shapes and sounds which would otherwise be meaningless instead becomes substantial. Beautiful and epic tales of love, war, sorrow, joy, and everything in between are passed down through the ages intact, immortalizing their creators, all thanks to the wonderful medium that is the written word. Whether it be fiction, non fiction, poetry, comedy, romantic, scientific or philosophical (or all of the above and more) all forms of creative writing are appreciated and open to discussion in the Words Forum. It's a place where writers and readers can unite over their love of an important part of our world: Words!
