The state of NJ is way behind in the passing of the law to permit pharmacies to allow the purchase of syringes without a prescription. I believe that the spread of Hepatitis C, Aids, and the sharing of needles by IV drug users would greatly decrease if they were allowed to buy them in their local pharmacy. Fortunately PA does allow these purchases and those NJ residents close to the PA border will have little problem; it's still an inconvenience. Gov. Christy needs to lighten up and get with the other states on this issue.
