Hi Y’all..
I’m in So Cal, USA. Been hooked on opiates for decades. Was able to get down to about a quarter g/day IV fent. So I’m trying this Bernese method for the first time and it’s going pretty well… but I’m stuck.
I induced very gradually from .25mg sub SL to 4mg sub SL 2x day over 6 days, while slightly tapering opiate use. I called my doc as recommended but he didn’t call back and then the weekend happened. So I stayed at 4mg twice a day for 2 days then went to 5mg twice a day for 2 days. I know I’m supposed to make this jump to 12mg all at once and stop using opiates.But I’m afraid. Also my son is coming into town tomorrow and I want to appear normal. I hope doc calls. Maybe some blue lighters have some experience w the big jump? Maybe doc will call today? Maybe I get covid and can’t see my son? I just want to be done with the monkey on my back.
