I never used drug test kits. I read on the forum that the zimmermann reagent is the best for testing benzos. But how does it work ? Does it indicate which benzos are in the substance ? Or just if it contains benzos ?

For example, i got some alprazolam pills. And i want to know if it really contains alprazolam or another benzo ? Does the zimmermann test will be good for this purpose ?

Thanks in advance

The zimmerman reagent mostly tells you if there is a benzo present. Almost all benzos turn purple, but some show a pink tint before changing to purple. Alprazolam does go more of a blue colour, so it can be useful.

It goes yellow for some cathinones (pyrovalerones like MDPHP) and MDMA, while going purple/brown with other cathinones like 3-CMC and 4-MMC.

Generally I would say it's handy as an "extra", but you really need lab tests to be sure.
