I'm new to electronic music been listening to it for about 6 months. Now I'm getting more involved. I of course started out with the main stream stuff like tiesto kascade deadmau5... I'm moving forward and am listening and learning more on beatport. I like stuff like Adam k and soha. Dada life. Moguai. Can people guide me toward more music like that. Thanks.
Also what is a better music player or place to download music than I tunes for exact music copys I have a nice B&W system and feel it sounds best with cds or exact copy music.

Beatport is a great place to find stuff that you like. It's easy to look for artists there. Also, once you have some artists to look for, check them out on youtube, and look at the related videos. They are pretty good at finding stuff you might like based on views.

Junodownload provides FLACs or even wavs and they have a pretty good selection of stuff. I get most of my electronic music through them (it also helps that they accept Ukrainian Visa Electron cards).

Seriously though, electronic music is a never-ending genre, I'm partial to the oldschool acid stuff, german hard trance and hardstyle. But I love all of it, basically.

I recommend checking out Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music, its got lots of different genres and background info and all that good stuff, worth browsing through.

Dubstep for the most part is to extreme. But I found a sweet song by cotton mouth (grandpas revenge )

You mentioned that you liked Deadmau5 and Moguai. So you might like some early Pyrda tunes (Prydz used to be my favourite producer by far; I don't know what he's like these days)

2 great suggestions. Check out soulseek p2p program if you want to go that way. You can find a lot of hard to find electronic music there. but yeah, beatport is a good place to start looking to hear what sound and artists you like. then go from there.
