has anybody come across this compound?.. long thread discussing it going on on reddit and nootropics RC sites. No hard data mind you! just he said she said" .. any hard data (peer-review or patents) would be appreciated.. thx. Here is the wiki entry:

THBC-1278 is a designer drug of the complex tryptamine class that has been marketed online as a legal alternative to ibogaine for opioid use disorder symptoms and addiction. Little information exists on the pharmacology of this compound. Chemically, it is a tetrahydro beta carboline related to harmala alkaloids such as harmaline.

THBC-1278 was originally developed in Canada as a non-dopaminergic eugeroic nootropic to promote wakefulness, attention, and vigilence without addiction and abuse liabilities associated with dopaminergicstimulants eugeroics.[1]

Looks like this was developed by a company that is trying to sell "research chemicals" for explicit medical purposes. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't last very long...

Looks like a post-grad student selling various things they can produce on a small scale. Look at the staff they are after. Most RC stuff is made at the 10-200Kg scale hence the low prices. Tocris stocks LOTs but it isn't really an RC vendor, is it? It's an ill considered start up.
