New member wd questions

New member here. Sorry if this is the wrong channel. I started a methadone wd 4 days ago stopping dead and switching to clonidine. So far so good. I was only taking between 25 and 40mg a day of methadone and only for a few months. ( not my first rollercoaster). I have some 2 -and 8 mg buprenorphine. Is it advisable to take them
Now to precipitate withdrawal or is the meth out of my system. I'm surprisingly comfortable on the clonidine with the odd klonopin but would like to be back to wrk Monday fighting fit. Any advice ?

Hey there and Welcome to BlueWorld

If you are coming by with just the clonidine and odd clonazepam then i would try and stray away from the subs till they are really needed. As long as the methadone is out your system. So just gauge how you feel everyday and how you can manage it without the subs. But if it gets too bad i would maybe add some subs but at the lowest dose like 0.5 - 1mg and then see how you feel after that. Keep as updated and ask away if you need any answers on anything else where we can help. But I'm no doctor and only advise this from personal exp.
