Scoring drugs in bad weather
As I stare out into the winter wonderland currently marooning me on the east coast I wonder - anyone else manage to pick up drugs in the worst of weather? Does your dealer close up shop during states of emergency?
My guy was open last night until about midnight which is when a travel ban went in to effect. His couriers were making deliveries in the thick of it here. One time it was particularly bad - I think the Blizzard of 2013.. anyways, I decided to trek it into the city before things got too bad (normal people stock up on bread and milk, I was stocking up on dope and pins) and I ended up stuck in the city. Everything just shut down while I was in the city copping and it was much too risky to attempt to flee back to the suburbs in a bright red BMW with rear wheel drive while holding the amount of dope I had. I ended up spending 3 days at a hotel (compliments of American Express) declining room service, high as a kite, watching Maury and re-runs of Drugs, Inc.. Those were good times. Sure as shit beat any snow day I had as a kid.
