In Los Angeles, they had you fill out a short form but you didn't have to show ID, I think because a lot of their clientele was homeless and didn't have any ID anyway. It was located in Skid Row downtown. I gave them a fake name and it wasn't a problem. They wanted you to turn in a syringe in order to get one, but I don't think I brought one along, so they ended up giving me 5 to start me out. I don't know how they would react if you look real young, but they were very kind and accommodating. They would give you all kinds of stuff for free, like cookers, tie-offs, alcohol wipes, cotton balls, and even little plastic bags of water. Doctors came in twice a week and you could see 'em for free without a long wait. They helped me out a lot with an absess, sending me to a local hospital that was cool to addicts (a rare thing), when it was more than they could handle there. It was about 4 years ago when I went there.
