Can anyone go to a needle and syringe exchange?/can anyone buy needles in syringes? Do I need an id or proof that im of age or can I do it anonymous.

Idk about the age question but in the name of harm reduction id say they would give em to you. You sound young man, not telling you not to do it cause you will do as you please but please practice the utmost caution and have respect for that damn needle. It has brought many strong willed people to their knees, speaking from exp

You can buy syringes from(some) websites that sell diabetic supplies. No script needed and only needed a credit card to pay for them. They even have smaller, like try them out before you buy a whole box for 7bucks which worked out awesome for me cuz i bought the wrong ones the first time i woulda been pissed with a huge box of wrong syringes! Hth

Yeah I definitely know the harm needles do. I've been shooting for awhile stopped for a few months but miss it...alott

It depends on where you live.

Yeah - this thread is pointless without this information. It's utterly dependent on where you live!

In Melbourne/Australia - anyone can go into an exchange and ask for syringes, no ID is required. Not sure if there's an age limit, though I've seen (clearly) underage kids get them with no issues.. Though perhaps if you look 8 years old they would say no.

In a chemist it is completely different, it's up to the chemists discretion and it really varies a LOT from chemist to chemist.

In Los Angeles, they had you fill out a short form but you didn't have to show ID, I think because a lot of their clientele was homeless and didn't have any ID anyway. It was located in Skid Row downtown. I gave them a fake name and it wasn't a problem. They wanted you to turn in a syringe in order to get one, but I don't think I brought one along, so they ended up giving me 5 to start me out. I don't know how they would react if you look real young, but they were very kind and accommodating. They would give you all kinds of stuff for free, like cookers, tie-offs, alcohol wipes, cotton balls, and even little plastic bags of water. Doctors came in twice a week and you could see 'em for free without a long wait. They helped me out a lot with an absess, sending me to a local hospital that was cool to addicts (a rare thing), when it was more than they could handle there. It was about 4 years ago when I went there.

I'm currently in MN and I don't at all look young. I was locked in a really shitty detox a year ago and now have sever paranoia and don't like showing ID or even telling them who I am
