I placed an order for ink jet cleaner. (1,4.....) 10 days ago. today i had a message on my door saying that i missed the mail and my package is being held at the post office and they requesting my signature. is this a set up? do i say fuk it and not pick it up? all the orders i placed before came by ups. post office scares me. what should i do?

to begin with, ink jet cleaner is legal, so you have nothing to worry about. second, the post office doesn't bother with "set ups." if something illegal gets mailed to you, you just won't get it.

TABALU RASA-where did you get that info from, that the PO doesnt follow up on busts??wherever you got it from, or whoever told you that is very WRONG!!!
yeah the PO acts in strange ways, but this doesnt look like a setup...if its LEGAL, go get it..why be worried??

I don't know how it works everywhere, but this is what they do 100% of the time here if you aren't present to receive a package. If you're that worried feel free to ignore the notices they leave and let them toss it out, but chances are 99% there's no trouble at all.

Go pick it up, you're not in trouble....

why is this post open...
I distinctly recall answering this same question by the same poster just a couple days ago in another thread.
Why do these idiots feel compelled to open multiple threads for the same questions...just trying to get attention or what.

true, i didn't know what he was talking about with the ink jet cleaner, but what i said still stands. where did i get it from? try the FDA/ORA Regulatory procedures manual.
i suggest you take a look at Exhibit 9.4, i'll give you a link for that too since you're obviously not to keen on doing any research before you reply. and hey, i'll even give you the gist of it. it's the "model letter for use in detentions of drugs and devices" and it states that
The Notice does not accuse you in any manner of violating any law.
so lighten up. if you think it sounds sketchy just don't go pick it up, and you will hear nothing more of the matter.

Ummm....they already know where you live, and your name, doesn't seem like you'd be risking much.

Grrr... even if it were HEROIN or CRACK then you should go pick it up... you think they are gunna have cops staking out the place 24/7? No, all that little green card means is that they tried to deliever it but you were not home... if they were going to bust you, they would set up a controlled delivery...
