G' day g' day. I am growing my first marijuana plant and I need some advice to how to grow my baby with the most buds possible.

Little greenie is as tall as my knee right now. She gets about 11 hours a day sunshine. She's looking dark green and healthy. Last time i counted around 30 node sites.

I decided to cut off the only stems that were not producing node sites. I cut off 6 stems.

How will this effect the growth? Will it infact grow back with node sites, or will the stems even grow back at all ?

I'm kinda spewin' cos im sure if i left these ones that were near the bottom they'd eventually had formed bud sites.

At this stage is it possible to create new node sites ?

this really aint a grow site man. peep icmag.com and grasscity.com they're pretty good.
we could type out step by step info for you, but it would be easier for everyone if you checked out those sites

is your plant flowering now? or are you just sexing it.
also where did you cut the stems off in relation to the main stem? if you just cut them off as close to the main stem as possible - new sites are unlikely to form. in fact, you would have been better off cutting off the lower branches so the plant can focus all its energy on the tops (where the most light hits).
you will want to head over to http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/
grasscity is all about teaching you how to grow.. as well as enjoy, process, and bullshit about weed too :)

cheers beamish..
that site has lots of good info, but, im not finding anything directly relating to my queries. i figure thats cos im not that knowledgeable on the topic. my plant is flowering at the moment. I cut the stems half an inch away from the main stem.

so im guessing i've lost potential buds, by prematurely snipping these weaker stems? and at this stage of the growth cycle there is no method for manually creating new areas for bud growth ??

the ones you cut wont grow back :/

unless you top the plant (cut off the top inch or so where new shoots are appearing)
theres really not many ways to do what you want.
topping makes the plant create new branches and makes it bush out.

you could always take clones?

i wouldn't sweat it etalking. it is true that those bud sites won't come back. however, the current bud sites will be bigger and healthier because of it.

Thats what CD could use more of, growing information.

edit: not guides but informative people lol
