So, I am dealing with a situation right now that has been confusing me and slowly driving me insane. I am not really sure I want to get into the details right now as it is a complicated matter to put it lightly! What I am needing is some honest feedback tho! My question is, has anyone "bought" someone's loyalty or friendship before especially in fear of losing them to another person in their life?? Or opposite has anyone's loyalty been "bought" by another person for insecure reasons?? Prime example is an overbearing mother that starts feeling threatened by her son's new girlfriend and fears not being able to control him anymore. She may offer small rewards to have people constantly stir up drama in their life and soil their relationship without looking like the bad guy. Sound familiar to anyone?? Any imput or feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

If you were honest about what is really bothering you it'd be easier to assist you. Unless your "prime example" is the actual issue and you're the new girlfriend.

People buy loyalty all the time with sex, money, drugs, power, etc

Wtf why would you bribe anyone?

If they don't want to be in your life, let them go.

I like the prime example... moms want grandkids, but to retain their children as SONS and not as newly transformed father figures...

I really like that dichotomy.

"I want change but I'M SCARED DAMN IT!"

^ it happens.
