Internet Need a new email address - any recommendations?

Requirements:
NOT Google/Yahoo/etc.
Should be free (for more than just economic reasons)
Trustworthy
I don't care providing a phone number for registration, but I won't be sending any pictures or videos of me
And... I'm not an US resident at the moment (some allow registration only if you are in the provider's country)

Any suggestions?

yeah protonmail has been pretty good for receiving mail, i've even left accounts dormant for longer than they say they allow but was still able to access them

Yea I'd suggest protonmail. They're solid and you can use custom domains
