I've noticed there is a lack of instant chat rooms for harm reduction and even general social chatting, all the tinychat and AIM and IRC rooms are empty, I think the mods and BL community needs to make an effort to be active in this way.

There was an OD TC. I believe they decided against the OD TC. It's difficult enough to moderate a forum without a live chatroom attached to it.

There are chatrooms for unofficial drug talk and harm reduction. Tripsit.me comes to mind. PM if you want the details.
Thing is, it is mostly populated by the same people and becomes a small, tight-nit community that ends up forgetting its primary mission. It basically is a chatroom to talk to other people while you are on drugs. Guidelines are nearly impossible to enforce. Also, it is heavily populated by minors experimenting with drugs for the first time and comparing stories. It is pretty cool, but for people looking for more in-depth discussion it is pretty whack. If you are an experienced drug user, it is not a place you want to be. A lot of it is drug dick sizing between high school kids. If you are older than 20 it's also not a place to be. Most of the discussions revolve around RC's, bitcoins (and a website people like to use them at), and where to acquire substances.
I just think that BL's mission would be lost. All that being said, there are very cool parts to Tripsit. Mainly, the tripsit room. If you are on drugs and need people to communicate with for whatever reason (including freaking out) there is place to go. The tripsit room is almost always empty though.

The OD Tiny Chat lead to nowhere productive, it could not be staffed enough to regulate the discussion in a pro-HR direction and it ended up causing a ton of problems, including blatant disregard for the site's rules in the chatroom leading to some users encouraging drug abuse rather than discussing HR. So there will be no OD chat room, sorry guys. That's what the OD forums are for, and all it's various threads.

I wish we could have the OD social back, but that also was proven to turn into just people talking about how high they were and what drugs they'd taken. Glorifying drugs is the exact opposite of the message we're trying to send.
