Need A Few Questions Answered Please

Hey all,

Im looking to go to a pyschiatrist and need a few questions answered.

1. Should i mention my OCD if i want to get prescribed either adderall or ritalin for my lack of motiviation and other adhd traits i have? Some say it makes the OCD worse and the doc might not give the drugs.

2. Should i mention my panic attacks and anxiety? Ive tried xanax and klonopin and they work great for me. I dont want him/her thinking im chasing "recreational drugs" i can just smoke weed for that

3. Should i say i have depression *which i dont* will it help get what i want? I dont want crap SSRI's (no offense to those who take it) after reading for weeks ive come to either get adderall/adderall xr or ritalin. I think that a adderall with xanax combo can work great for me. What you guys think?

4. Adderall vs Ritalin vs Adderal xr --- which would you choose for a normal functioning day of work and going out at night with friends. Least side effects.

Any advice as to say/not say to the pyschiatrist in order to get what i want? any experiences?

Im just trying to get my life back on track, i have no job (been 3 years) no motivation at all, cant concentrate and finish stuff *such as school*

i wouldent tell ur doc about any rec drugs or benzos IMO i would think he may think that if you tell him that your on benzos + other OCD.
i only got prescribed valium and klonopin when i had full on social anxity n deprison and they seemed to help.but was put on endep witch gave me seziers then put on zolof witch basic gave me bipolar but yer fuck that shit dont take SSRI's
but dont take my word for it just my 2 cents

So you want to get your life on track? Yeah go see a shrink and get some Adderrall wtf?

You say you have OCD, panic attacks, no motivation, can't complete studies, and you want to score some shitty uppers from the doctor..... You need proper psychiatric help....

Why not talk to them legitimately, walk in there, and explain things to him maybe SSRI's/ tricyclics or mood stabilizers will help you get back on track...He will blatantly read 'drug sourcer' off your forehead with your pre-prepared speech, the second you mention identical symptoms of ADD he'll smell you a mile off, you need to help him make the decision, but I can assure you, unless you get lucky, these days, you will fail...And it will be a good thing for you, you'll get marked as a sourcer, and struggle the rest of your life to get any meds, even when you may need them....
