need 5htp info

I went to GNC last night to find 5-htp supplements. I don't know what they are called so I just started looking in the protein section. I found a bottle labled something like acetly-m-Hydrochloride 500. Was that it? Is it supposed to be $35 for 30 pills!!!!! If anyone knows, please tell what to ask for and whether or not I can get it cheaper.

nope that wasn't it. It's in the diet section at GNC. Thats what it usually is used for, althought i dont think it works for diets. I still get hungry and all that. A cheaper place to get it if you're not in a hurry is www.mothernature.com.
