Im throwing a free beach rave on the 4th of july and need time donated by djs looking to get their name out. Almost all suppplies will be provided and some travel costs can be accoutned for. Word will spread like wild fire and if your set is hot your name will travel fast. Please email me or IM me to confirm a 1-3 hour set right ON THE BEACH. Bass @ The Beach 2009 in Carolina bEach NC. 25 minutes south of wilmington. 115 minutes from raleigh approximately.

Specifically looking for jungle, drum n bass , hard house, breakbeats djs. THANKS!!!! %) %) %)

If it sucks it sucks, but from what I've heard from the dj's we got so far it definitely shouldn't suck.

Only got 1 or 2 more slots to fill on the lineup, looking pretty sweet so far. Got some dnb, dubstep, ragga, house, electro. Really just need some good breaks now.

I can't wait... should be more info up on here soon. :D

Yes you are correct. :D

And chrissie, the event is totally free all night long, with fruit served in the morning. The djs aren't getting payed but are being compensated for some travel costs. Regardless how many turn out, its the fourth of july and this is going to be on a very packed beach. We will be at the VERY VERY end of the beach. Last year my friends event went great.

It is all local acts, and the lineup will be announced within 10 days.
 
Since this thread is more about looking for DJ's than actually promoting event, I'm moving it to NA Social, but leaving a re-direct so it's viewable to more people for you. Feel free to post a thread promoting the event in the Events forum once you have everything together.
 
Sounds good Trixieee ^ ^ :) I actually have gotten A LOT done in the past 48 hours. 7 djs are confirmed, 1 battle. And its looking like it will be 9-7 am with free fruit at 7 and then open decks till 10 ....... if any other djs would like to donate there time, transportation can be payed for partly..... we specifically need a jungle dj to finish things up....

NOTE: I am trying to book an out of state dj from the midwest. The travel costs may stop this from happening, but lets keep our fingers crossed.

This event is FREE to EVERYONE but donations are GLADLY accepted! We will be passing the donation bowl around 4 times during the evening, and if 50% of costs are covered we will throw another free event at the end of august.

This event will be held @ Freeman Park, aka Carolina Beach, North End. As FARRR down the north end you can go, by the wave pool. 4 wheel drive is required! DJ's who have extra vinyl or are unconfirmed, please show-up at least an hour b4 6am to get a spot on the decks! Local talent spinning house, jungle, dnb, dubstep, experimental, and mb a lil' rap to get things started. We plan to have 13 hours of uninterrupted music but freeman park has rules and if we get complaints we may need to turn it down, and possibly shut down for a short amount of time (like the memorial day event last year) It was only for 1 hour tho. We expect all of you to abide by the rules of freeman park. If you aren't aware of the rules I will be adding them to the event details later. Expect kind, as well as firm security.
