I'm sorry if something of this sort has been said before but I am posting specifically to get some advice on my situation.

my last administration of dope was Saturday morning, it is now Sunday morning, I've taken 4mg of a sub strip and sent myself spiraling down a horror well of cold sweats and vomiting and even worse sickness than I was in before I took the strip, I was wondering if doing some dope would take this pain away? I've been told many times that doing opiates while you're on subs won't make you sick, only visa versa.

Basically I'm asking if doing more dope will take the precipitateds away, will taking more subs take them away?

Anything is helpful, thank you!

Just ride it out. Taking more of anything won't alleviate PW symptoms in my experience.

okay, thanks! I've done dope with suboxone still fully in my system without getting any sort of sickness, so I was just wondering if doing that would take this sickness away

Whether you take the buprenorhine or dope first will make little difference.
Wait 24hrs and then try again. In the meantime benzos (in moderation) and anti-emetic antihistamines will help relieve your symptoms.

If you are truly concerned go to the ER.

Good luck, I wish you the best. I've been down the same road you're currently on.

Go to the ER for precipitated withdrawals? Anyone who would go to an ER around here for that would get left in a bed for four hours-and maybe if a doctor walked by the doorway, he'd stop long enough to say "too bad for you;" -and possibly send op back home with some papers with rehab names and their phone numbers.

Subutex Suboxone... That's all shit for recreational use. Or are you using them for what they are meant to, quit opiates/opioids?

If not get real drugs. I once got subutex and while researching read awful things of ppl getting sick because of playing with that crap.

Was this post supposed to be helpful of have any harm reduction value whatsoever? Your answer was pretty pointless. You obviously know very little about buprenorphine.

Hey, people get worried. Look at the title of the thread. OP wasn't getting answers, was in distress. It can't hurt to go the the ER. Quit being a wise ass if you have nothing to add to help the OP. TROLL

Save calling people a troll/wise ass for other juvenile boards on the internet-that isn't what Bluelight is for either.

I was just sharing truth. I see at least one or two withdrawing addicts crawl into the emergency dept. desperate, frazzled, and ill almost daily. They have become a large part of patient quota over the last few years; the numbers of them coming into the hospitals are certainly not shrinking.

Many ER's more than likely would supply A bed for opiate withdrawal-certainly nothing to make you feel like you took something to not be sick anymore. Don't be so defensive.

An ER will for the most part administer lorazepam and help try to keep you comfortable. Even with the lorazepam, I can't imagine kicking on a hospital stretcher in the ER. If you want they will also set you up with a detox, otherwise probably just write you a short term script for the lorazepam and maybe you can convince them to hook it up with come clonidine. Oh and if you really want a bed in a detox, just say you are scared you might hurt yourself, pink slipped and shipped out within 24 hours. You'll have to spend a few days in the lockdown unit with some real nuts, though.
