Prose My life is a ping pong game

Years ago, I was a teenager struggling with what I now know to be bipolar disorder. During this period, I started writing poems. This is my 2nd ever poem. While I'm generally not a big fan of my older work, @Did someone fart? has encouraged me to share it.

Such a poignant encapsulation of how I imagine that tug of war within must feel. Beyond what most struggle with and internalize, this feeling of not having control within seems like a difficult path to tread as a young person already faced with enough burgeoning changes.
