ok, my doctor hates the idea of recreational drugs. he'll take away my script if i test posotive for drugs (but im not worried about that, i got it under control)... so know u know what he's like.
but what i want is to uprgrade my ritalin script, preferably to adderall or something. what should i tell him? im guessing, something along the lines of 'they used to work ok, but now they don't seem to effect me at all.'

Basically, doctors are perceptive about this sort of thing, so ask yourself, "am I a deceptive person?" if you are good at decieving people in general, then its simple enough to go to call him up and give him a story. Otherwise, just live with the fact that you dont need somehting stronger so you're not going to get it. If you deal with that for a few weeks, it wouln't make a difference anymore.

How good do you think you are? Doctors like yours are the ones we all want to avoid... it's not likely he would prescribe any drug with the word "amphetamine" in the name... you can try saying you feel it'as getting harder to concentrate, but he is only likely to up yer dose...
