I got my MET & DPT in and have been very excited, MXE + DPT/DMT have been my favourites so I was excited to try a new unsubstituted tryptamine with MXE. I weighed it out, sucked it into the needle, and injected into my hip/ass muscle. Based of my other experiences with say DPT+MXE I thought I was shooting low, but I had work the next day and just wanted to test the waters as it had been a long time since I had a tryptamine. I was very surprised.
+0:00 Injected the solution, turned off all lights and glowing things and put on my wireless headphones and played the track I pre-made and laid down in my bed.
+0:08 The first song ends and I've been getting just slight hallucinations. They look like bulbs of fire, throwing fire around to each other. I start to feel the effects of the MXE too as my teeth feel weird. Overall I'm thinking I shot pretty low and will just have a marginally strong trip, which I'm fine with.
+0:13 Second short song had ended and it launches into the next when in my field of vision (Eyes closed) a brilliant electric line appears running vertically. It expands width wide slowly, and fractals begin leaking out from inbetween the edges of the lines. Then the line breaks up twice more and begins rotating around my vision. Fractals are just spewing everywhere and I start to grin, as I know this place very well from DMT & DPT, but this had a flavour all its own.
0:25 Somewhere between that song ending and the next one I'm in full-blown MET hyperspace. I'm seeing creatures or entities of varying shape, size, colour, etc. I'm overwhelmed with joy that there are entities on MET like DMT, but for the most part they only observed me and just let me get blasted around. I cannot stress how incredibly complex the visuals were for 35mg. I was floored. They also happen very gradually and slowly, DMT & DPT for myself are very fast-paced, I barely have time to truly see what is going on. On MET though, I watched giant structures rise and fall, I watched the entities flit around and interact with the landscape.
0:45 The song that was on was Shpongle - Monster Hit and right around the 4 minute mark there is a part of the track that sounds like water dropping/rushing. I imagined myself walking up to a pond filled with glowing shapes and when the water noises got strong a platform raised up out of the group with liquid leaves flowing down from it and mixing into the pond. There was a large entity on the top of the platform and it was ringed with other smaller entities. I laugh and giggle and smile, I'm blown away with how lucid everything is yet how completely GONE I am, yet 100% comfortable despite not tripping for over a year and a half.
0:55 I am merging with the hyperspace. All I can see are endless tunnels made of geometry. The tunnels smack into me and burrow through me, and my body loses most of its shape as I become part of the construct. I cannot feel some body parts, others I feel I have more of, for example I had two mouths and out of each of them was blossoming tunnels/ropes of beautiful hallucinations. The ecstasy is astounding as I am literally losing all sense of identity and have physical sensations I have never experienced before.
1:05 I reform and they are all watching me and the world begins closing in a weird way. I notice them all staring at my gym shorts with very confused and almost taken aback looks. I return it for a while and realize that none of them wear clothes and so I throw them off and they continue with their joy-making or whatever on (not)earth it was that they do.
1:15 After some time and am sitting in a room where the walls are nothing but hallucinations. I began voicing my questions to the entities out loud like how I do on DMT & DPT, if they would be comfortable with me mixing say DMT or DPT with MET and got a glowing amazing positive feeling beamed into me. I once asked the entities of DMT about DPT and the entire world started bleeding red and they became furious, I had to apologize quickly, but with MET they just seem happy to see me and were fine with whatever.
1:20-30 The trip took on a slightly more sinister effect but I didn't mind as the hallucinations were getting stronger, crisper, and a bit slower with every passing minute. I saw a giant skewed cat, it was merged into the psychedelics tunnels/walls as I was before and could see eyes everywhere watching me and it bared its fangs incredibly close to me but I just laughed, I don't mind them trying to scare me. The walls became a mostly formed person, and he began rotting away, his body turned into sludge and poured onto the floor where it mixed with the water there and everything became very grisly. I just laughed and after a while the graphic scenes faded away and I continued to melt away into the environment and occasionally see the entities.
1:50 I had mostly fast-paced electronica/psytrance but then Daft Punks Instant Crush came on and the entities seemed to notice the much more relaxed and calm music and came up to me and started waving goodbye. That was the first time they really paid attention to me except when something was displaying the fucked up stuff from earlier.
Mild Psychedelia like fractals and glowing lines and such continued on for another hour while I just laid there totally blown away. I was not expecting a two-hour long submersion in hyperspace from 30mg IM. I've taken DPT+MXE all the way up to 85mg/60mg IM. I would be very hesitant to go much beyond 50mg IM with the MET. I cannot give MET a glowing enough review, I was captivated, blown away, and just lost in the gorgeousness of everything. The merging into the environment was very novel and felt really, really good. I don't mind that the entities didn't pay attention and interact with me much, I didn't even catch a glimpse of DMT's inhabitants until I had done it about 10 times and finally mixed it with MXE, my favourite dissociative. I am going to wait a while before I touch the MET again, I will probably do a DPT one again as I *LOVE* the malleability of the DPT world, but will be returning to MET. I knew after taking 4-HO-MET I wanted very badly to try the un-substituted version and I am so, so glad I did. The 2-hour duration was very enjoyable too. When I realized how strong the trip was going to be I wondered if this would drag on but no, it was all so amazing and I was so ecstatic and everything was so gorgeous. It felt very erotic as well, but I imagine it would be meh for sex as you would have to dose very low not to just be laying there incapacitated.
There's not a lot of info out there for this brilliant chemical, if you are a fan of tryptamines, especially the much more captivating and powerful (opinion) simple tryptamines, get some.
