lsd and shrooms i tend to go with nothing too serious later on into my tripping as i realized some types of music freak me out, like with weed or sober i can go for some really emotional or dark stuff, but i tend to go different routes when tripping... i also don't really like music on high dose tripping... sometimes i feel like stimulants aren't the best for music either.... i really like to make music on any drugs. just tuning instruments is really fun to me... not really something i find particularly useful with coke, but that's my experience with drugs and music in short.
also thinking about ketamine, on dxm, i had a really good experience listening to John Coltrane "very best of" recordings on Impulse records with the black and orange cover. i guess dxm is different than ketamine, but they are in the same class of drugs. i never tried ketamine. i remember i used to like music on DXM... i like boards of canada the electronic group for some time... i've heard better techno than them, but not very often. one time on college radio, they were playing this really ambient old school techno from the 70's or 80's it sounded to me, like really early stuff, and i was really into that.. i have no idea what genre that was, because the kid doing it was being weird and not announcing all the songs. i should've called them up. i expected to hear the stuff again, but i can't find it on the net, and the person doing it stopped dj'ing. no one plays the same stuff... like that episode of the children's show Pete and Pete, where the kid hears the band playing and then can't find any info on who they are so he goes on a quest.. lol. no one knows what i'm talking about every where i post though. it was kind of ambient like boards of canada, but the synthesizers sounded more vintage..

Listened Burial UIO different disso s [dMXE and DCK],
only time i could play the whole album and it made sense.
Weird stuff like The BUG, or Chemical Brothers.
Last one always great on Serotinergics too.
On trips i need no music, and would i the effort would be enough.
To prevent me trying. But when coming down good Reggea/ Dub/ ...
or the Westernized versions of Hindu mantras blend into songs.
Empatogens can require some music. So all euphoric anything good goes.
On stims music seems less important, but i never overindulge.
Like in my youth and Coke been of my chart long ago,
like its bastard son Methylphenidate. So not that important,
for that drug. Anything goes. Talking loud/ with or without music.
Good or bad, don t seem to be of importance.
Last time i was really high, while sober !
Was by a album of Mr. Oizo, knew only that hit track with the Puppet.
The music is way better then that one hit.
Pure natural high, it looked like i was on a lot of drugs.

As we all know, psytrance is the kind of genre that is fully focused on psychedelic trips and out of body experiences but I always face ppl who dislike any sort of trance music even when they're high on psychedelics.
I'm looking for a chance to start my own psytrance thread to discuss how psytrance can enhance your euphoria.
