Okay, so now it definitely looks like I try new drugs too often because this is like my third trip report in the last month or so; however, this experience deserves a trip report just as much as my first candyflipping experience. On friday the 13th, I did shrooms for my first time...my friend J(Dyswtric) also did shrooms for his first time. K(acid + 2ct7), L(extremely stoned), B(2ct7), and H(2ct7) accompanied J and I for the first half of the experience.
I ate about 3 grams of dried shrooms around 4:20 this past friday. About fifteen minutes later, I felt kinda like I was getting high...but a high with a twist. I started smiling a lot, almost like I do when I roll, and I felt like I wanted to bust out laughing at everything. I had some minor stomach discomfort similar to heartburn as well. Everyone was starting to feel a little anxious, so we agreed to go on a walk in the woods.
Once we left the dorms for the woods, I started to lose track of time, so unfortunately, time isn't gonna be part of this report...hehe. We started walking through the woods toward the lake, and I realized that nature was starting to move. At this point, I felt as if I was gonna be shoved into a super hard trip in a few minutes. As I looked around the forest, I noticed that everything was moving now...the bark on trees had various patterns that would blend in and out of each other. J said he was feeling a bit disappointed with the trip so far, but I tried to tell him that things were gonna change pretty quick. Drugs seem to hit me faster than other people. Anyways, we finally got to a clearing by a nice waterfall.
Several people were gonna smoke some weed there; however, L was being a bit paranoid, so everyone started to freak whenever a person came into view. I didn't really follow any of the conversations at this point because I really didn't care...it felt as if I had better things to do. I definitely felt the intensity of my trip increase a great deal when we stopped to look around though. I was amazed by nature, and I was also feeling a little nervous because I was tripping really hard so soon. J, H, and K noticed I was starting to look a little panic-stricken at this point, but that's when J felt his trip come on strong. I asked to hear a cd from the walkman, but when he handed it to me, I didn't know how to work it properly. After what seemed like hours of discussion about where people wanted to smoke weed(probably only five minutes at most), we finally left the clearing to go back to J and L's dorm.
On the way back, I glanced across the lake toward campus, and I felt like I was in a movie kinda like camelot. The lake and buildings really looked like a perfect painting with castles, and time seemed to stop when I looked at it. Everyone stopped to check it out before we continued on. We crossed a bridge heading toward campus, and I have to admit that what I saw was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I looked across the lake toward the woods...there was a waterfall...mist was rising up above the lake...the sun was shining...and to top it off, there was a perfect rainbow across the whole lake! I'm not sure if the rainbow was really there, but the site will definitely remain in my memory for a long time. After that, we finally made it back to the dorm.
Once we got back, I felt like I had actually settled into my trip(I never feel like that on acid). My body felt extremely good, similar to rolling, and I was rather talkative and happy. We gathered in J's room for a while. We took turns talking to people on the comp...I found decent typing really difficult, but I didn't care that I was messing up. I tried to im a few people to tell them how great a time I was having. This is about the point where I felt like everything was glowing...it was a very warm, happy glow coming off everything, even some people, kinda like someone wrapped me up in a very soft, yellow blanket. I loved how my head felt so much more clear than it does when I trip on acid. One of the bluelighters sent me a colorful pic to look at, and I thought he sent me a video cuz it was swirling around so much...later, he told me it was a still pic...hehe. I saw patterns on about everything, even J and L's jeans looked checkered. Shroom visuals seem more blended than detailed like acid visuals. J put on different types of music, and all of it sounded great; however, I still think music sounds better on acid. I'm not sure how much time elapsed while we were in the room, but I didn't care because I was enjoying it so much. I was getting a little sick of the people on 2ct7, and I felt as if J was one of the few people that could understand what I was saying. L was good comic relief because he was so stoned...hehehe! After a while in the room, J and I decided to go on a walk at night.
J and I walked across campus to look down the slope toward town. We stopped in this building for a quick break, and I was blown away by the paintings on the ceilings. We went to the slope for a while. The slope was so perfect...the thick grass...calm wind...mostly clear sky with stars...it was just a site to behold. I kept throwing a red ball(lights up when it hits the ground) down the slope. I was a little kid! I also amused us with my red and blue photon lights...extremely long and beautiful trails!!! J said the lights looked good enough to eat! We left the slope to check out another waterfall, but this time it was dark, so we were definitely in for quite a treat.
We started to walk down a lot of steps toward the water, and J said it looked like we were in an adventure-type movie. Everything looked black and white. Once we got down by the water, it was just so wonderful. I wanted to touch the water, but shrooms make me feel a bit off balance, so I probably would have fallen in. J and I went back to his dorm after being thouroughly amazed.
The rest of the group minus L met us, and we all went to collegetown to watch a movie and smoke. My trip was winding down at this point, but I couldn't quit thinking about what I had just seen and felt. K was finally calming down from his earlier acid panic, and everyone else was quite stoned. I finally went home feeling extremely satisfied at about 2am. I woke up the next morning with a glow and slight headache.
Shrooming is definitely one of my best, if not my best, drug experiences! I loved the warmth of the whole trip. It really let me be myself, and I never felt the waves of panic that I get when I trip on acid. I have to say that shrooms are better for me than acid, and I'm definitely interested in shrooms + e now. I can't wait to try shrooms again though! All I can say is...this trip report really doesn't do any justice to what I actually saw and felt. I'd bet J would agree with me on that one. Anyways, please enjoy it for what it's worth.
