mushroom spores in California

I just read on shroomery.org that mushroom spores are illegal to possess in California. Is this true? Thanks

Yup, but unless you were planning on just keeping the syringe on top of the mantle they'd probably be in an illegal form soon enough anyhow.

The spores of illicit mushrooms are indeed illegal in California. However, there are probably some spore retailers (perhaps the ones located in canada or europe) that would be willing to send you them all the same, if you're willing to take the legal risk.

Its funny but spores are legal pretty well all over the world except for California and Georgia.... Georgia I could belive, but California! Nuts I tell ya.

I am moving to Cali next year and I am now very sad

cause growing mushrooms has been a dream of mine since I was 14.

Listen, owning spores is only illegal in Ca and Ga, right?
Owning mushrooms is illegal period, to the best of my knowledge. Certainly owning the amount a good crop would give you would be illegal, I would suppose. Unless you were planning on eating them as they get ready to be harvested, you're going to be doing something illegal anyhow.
That having been said, it's pretty well known that some companies openly ignore those laws. I won't tell you who if you ask.
