Opioids Morphine sulphate slow release IV?

Is there a safe method to remove the purple wax on morphine sulphate continuos tablet and then dissolving them in bac water for IV use?

If I recall correctly MS Contin cannot be dissolved to a point to be IV-ed. Tried it a few years back with many methods and seems the time-release mechanism is not its coating but throughout the pill itself.
Maybe someone can help with this but chewing them up thoroughly is the only way I have found to get more of the dope in the system quicker.

Are MS Contin capsules with wax-like beads in them? Then extraction is easy, just pour the beads into a spoon filled with water, heat it over a flame upon which the beads will dissolve and leave an oily layer on top of the water. Let it cool, the wax solidifies again and can be discarded. The morpine is now in the water. But of course do still use good filtration practice to be safe.

If you say tablets then I would say, unfortunately, no. The process I posted only works with bead-filled capsules of a certain type.
