Two consecutive Morning Glory trips... (report)
After taking a one year break from LSA in the form of HBWR and MG
seeds, a routine shopping trip to Wal-Mart led me to revisit the
experience. Previously I had tried MG seeds maybe 3 or 4 times and
HBWR seeds twice, with interesting, but relatively mild results.
This report will hopefully answer any questions about the effects of
eating MG seeds on consecutive days, and reveal the potential magic of
LSA to those who are skeptical.
------------ THURSDAY NIGHT -------------
Preparation: 260 Heavenly Blue seeds were thoroughly soaked whole and
rinsed.
Dose: I ate approx 150 seeds (which I thought was a "light" dose), "D"
ate approx 50 seeds (which he thought would be threshold).
Setting: Begins in my dorm room, on an empty campus (we've returned
early from spring break).
T-1:00 : We pass a joint around. Myself and "D" plan to eat seeds.
"S", "JW", and "J" are only smoking tonight.
T+0:00 : They don't taste as bad as I remember... chewed into a planty
pulp and swallowed down with water.
T+0:30 : I'm feeling more stoned, and that funny familiar feeling in
the frontal lobe.
T+0:45 : By now everything is starting to become really funny, like
I'm laughing at random things. I keep seeing a palm tree in one of my
tapestries in the corner of my eye. There is a very slight pain in my
stomach but not like the bad nausea I expected.
T+1:30 : D decides to eat about 50 seeds after seeing that I have no
nausea. We decide to go for a walk up to J's room. As soon as I start
walking I realize it will be a difficult journey across campus. My
legs feel stiff and occasionally I feel a minor shooting pain in them.
On the way over I worry that if walking becomes any more difficult I
may literally collapse because of the stiffness and pain in my legs.
However, I am soon distracted by the shimmering snow on the ground and
the old architecture of the buildings on campus. "S" asks me how I am
doing and I reply "I'm just checking out that castle"... this was a
real laugh because the "castle" I was looking at was a regular
classroom building. I realized that reality was becoming increasingly
distant.
T+1:45 : D is already feeling the effects of the seeds, and living up
to his reputation of being sensitive to substances. We're talking
about random stuff and having a real laugh. At this point my legs are
still stiff, but the shooting pains are gone, which is a real relief,
because as it turns out we had more walking to do. J's dorm was locked
up for spring break and her key didn't work so we decided to go over
to JW's house. On the way there the path we were walking on bent back
and forth a bit.
T+2:00 : We got to JW's room and chilled out with some candles while
myself and D watched the moving patterns in the tapestries. There was
a cactus on the table that I felt drawn to, and I spined myself a
couple of times touching it (but not badly). D was still laughing at
everything and I was in a really good mood myself. J and JW left to
get some ice cream.
T+2:30 : Ice cream has never tasted so good. We head down to my room
to have another smoke. As I walk down the hill to my dorm, the snow is
very glittery and a small stretch of snowy ground in front of me
appeared to be a grand expanse of rolling snow covered hills. This, of
course, I pointed out to everyone else so that they could see. And of
course nobody saw it. My legs were feeling much better by this point,
and only a bit stiff. I passed by a light post and the light turned on
right as I passed by. I instantly turned around and ran back to the
light (making everyone stop while I checked it out). The light post
was bending around a bit and then the light itself (including all the
light it cast on the snow and sidewalk) changed through a full
spectrum of colors. This was unbelievable and I asked everyone if they
saw that too, because it looked completely real.
T+3:00 : Right now I should note one thing about communication with
other people. It's hard. I kept coming up with all these crazy jokes
in my head and even though they were halarious to me, they didn't
really make sense to anyone else. A few times I thought I had offended
people accidentally because I realized they had no idea what I was
talking about and I thought they might have interpreted it as an
insult. This led me to sometimes give people long and confusing
explanations for things I would blurt out, and I think this only
confused people more.
T+3:10 : Time to smoke a bowl. Puff.... oh yes, now the entire room is
changing shape and moving about. The rope light on my wall is making
some cool fractal patterns on the wall behind it. The wall itself
seems to be made of some kind of digital-looking texture. I sit down
and look at the floor, and everyone else is sitting in a circle with
me. A pie-slice of my field of vision then stood out and repeated
itself over the rest of my vision until I was looking through a
kaleidescope with my eyes open.
T+3:30 : JW is messing with my head right now. She is doing
"impressions" of me, but I don't really get it. I keep looking at her
wondering why she is acting so strange and spacey, and it takes me
like 5 minutes to realize she is mimicking my every move. Its cool
because we always poke fun at each other but I was amazed at how she
kept doing this over and over and I STILL wasn't catching on. At this
point I was more interested in watching the cartoon people in my
tapestry. A comment of tapestries: They come alive! Constantly
changing and patterns moving around.
T+4:00 : JW and D peace out. J and S go for a walk and I decide to
stay in the room for a while, because I'm feeling kind of sedated at
this point and I'm having fun watching things dance around the room.
T+4:20 : J and S come back. I thought they had been gone for at least
an hour even though it felt like more. During that time the entire
room was changing form and it was entertaining but not really anything
new. Then I saw a new color in one of my tapestries. I have never seen
this color before but its like a green-blue but, well, I can't really
explain it.
T+5:00 : Time to go to bed I guess. I spent the next 2 or 3 hours
twiching in bed constantly, I couldn't keep still. Eventually I fell
asleep and felt rested in the morning with a nice afterglow.
------------ FRIDAY NIGHT -------------
D was really excited about his trip, because he experienced quite a
bit on only 50 seeds and he was anxious to try a bigger dose. S was
also interested in revisiting LSA after she saw that we had no and
both had a good time.
So, even though I thought it would probably be a bad idea, I did it
again the next night.
Setting and Preparation were the same. This time it was just me, S and
D hanging out. Dose was about 100 seeds each.
T+0:00 : Yum yum!
T+0:30 : D is cracking up at random things already. S complains that
she feels a bit of nausea, but that it is tolerable.
T+1:00 : I feel a bit of pain in my stomach. I expected worse
side-effects on this second night, which is why I only ate 100 seeds.
I'm glad I didn't take more.
T+2:00 : Everyone is tripping, checking out the tapestries and such.
We go to smoke a bowl and of course we're tripping even more after
that. However for the next hour my legs are in pain when I try to
stand up and all my muscles feel stiff, even those in my chest, which
scared me a little bit. I am tripping the entire time, looking at
things and talking to S and D. I am surprised that LSA worked as
effectively on the second night, I thought there would be more of a
tolerance issue. However, even though I was tripping again, it wasn't
as strong and it wasn't as "new and cool". Because of the slight pains
throughout my body I kind of willed myself to trip a bit less at this
point. Things were still patterning but I had my sanity.
T+3:15 : My legs feel a bit better (ie: I can actually stand up and
walk around for short distances). We go to have a smoke and chill in
the back room.
T+3:45 : We're all checking out the close-eye visuals. I am shown an
ancient temple, and I fly inside and see some really cool mosaics. D
also talked about how cool the mosaics he saw were. At this point S's
personality has transformed completely. She is completely alert and
talking, but not really making much sense and she has a tripped out
expression on her face, which is probably how I looked the night
before. I am enjoying the sensation of melting into the wall.
T+4:30 : We're starting to come down, so there's not much else of
interest to comment on. S's "new" personality lasted for over an hour,
but it was entertaining and kind of cool.
T+5:30 : I fell asleep really easily with no twitching.
---------------------------------
Summary --- The first night it was like the visuals of 1 hit of acid
and the mindfuck of a couple hits at least. The side effects suck, and
they do get worse the second night in a row. If I had taken more seeds
the second night I would have worried for my health and surely had a
bad trip. No nausea though!
Anyway I was certainly impressed, but this is something that I don't
feel like I should (or want to) do more than a few times a year. Next
time I will try a dose in the 200 or 250 range, but it will be a while
before I do that.
Thursday night's trip was definitely one of the best I've had, and I
was surprised by the intensity of it. All of us are left with fond
memories and a nice afterglow. I hope this was helpful and
interesting!
