I tested a sample of a gram of molly powder using the Mandolin test and it came out as red to orange which according to the chart is heroin (the next closest color would be ketamine). Is it still safe to use? Could it be possible that its a blend of heroin and MDMA because I'm not trying to parachute 100mg of pure heroin. Thanks.

It's likely not heroin. It's CERTAINLY not MDMA.
PMA's reaction on the mandelin is red.. If it doesn't test right, DO NOT CONSUME. Period. Flush that shit, identifying fake chemicals so you don't have to take them is the entire point of a test kit
