Modern society, specifically money, has to be the biggest cult of them all. I mean besides sex, it is perhaps the greatest organising factor in our lives - conversely try to do anything without any money and see how far you get, so it's not exactly a cult that is easy to leave.. but then isn't that part of the definition?

However, the gun laws in America are very different than in Canada and I might be able to take a few with me if they tried to come after me at home. Mine are all legally owned and registered.

Then there are the horribly evil true devil worshipping cults of the European elites, nobility( what a fucking joke) and the super rich( multi billionaires), they are the most secret, evil and protected.
Protected through bribes, blackmail, murder, fear and corruption.
You like movies, Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut scratched the surface of this.
( there was a lot that was cut out and disappeared and of course he died before it came out) He was an atheist and had some idea of the shit going down.
Ever heard of Roman Polanski? Besides Rosemary's Baby; The movie the Ninth Gate. Although based on a novel, it is fiction but, there is a bit of truth about the European elites touched on just enough to that to give a very small insight to this dark beyond belief hidden world. It was veiled enough, ( made in the late 90's, staring Johnny Depp, and released in 1999 I believe) Parts of the movie near the end have a hint of truth) The movie is so supernatural and unbelievable, that's why he is still alive. But the part about the Rich Powerful European elites is a small hidden window into that world. It is disguised enough that Polanski didn't get killed. Polanski and whoever wrote the novel it was based upon, knew at least a little. Polanski is also an atheist, but towards the end the part about the 'elites' gathering in a hugh mansion has truth to it. The rest or most of the rest is pure fiction. Neither movie was well received, considering who directed them. This in my opinion is no accident and so few really know about it.
