Is it really true that this chem is only a weak DRI and weak D2 partial agonist? Tried it more than once but always got caffeine-overdose like effects and I tolerate a fuckton of dopamine. Memantine (D2 agonist. high doses) keeps me awake but doesn't induce restlessness or tension (nor psychotomimesis, curiously, I need the norepinephrine for that). Possibly its NMDA antagonism counters but I doubt it somehow. Sure they screened for adenosine?

I never got any strong effects from it, even took 1200mg of adrafinil. The stimulation is noticeable but does not feel particularly psychoactive

Wow that's quite an amount. Read that a1 adrenoceptors are required for modafinil to function (as in knockout mice) but there is no direct agonism.. maybe the effects I got were primarily adrenergic and wouldn't increase with escalating dosages but then again this substance just has an unhealthy signature on me.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend that amount. Also I was on heavy APs which may have blocked it if it really is a d2 agonist

YMMV, but yeah it's not really known as euphoric in the sense of amphetamine. The (possible) good news is, since dopamine metabolizes to norepinephrine, stimulating compounds will follow suit.
