hey all, i'm currently working a very dull job and I find my mind wondering while i'm supposed to be working, as I understand it Modafanil would help with that, problem is that I suffer from anxiety and stims make me very jittery but I've read Modafanil is not exactly a stim, even so is it likely to cause any anxiety or jitteriness?

further info, I'm currently on 450mg pregabalin spread out over 3 150mg doses over the day
I'm also on 5mg of olanzapine a night
and 15mg of Mirtazapine a night (I start this tonight and to NRI part of it worries me a bit, the slightest vasoconstriction and i start to panic :/)
I have Lorazepam available to me were I to encounter nasty stim effects but do not take them, they're just an emergency supply

before anyone suggests looking for a less dull job, i've tried and am trying ;)

any feedback would be great

I had used modafinil some years back. Sometimes it helped, but personally found it ineffective after some months. Maybe because of the opiates I was using simultaneously. It might work for you. If your doctor is willing to prescribe it, give it a try.

Modafinil won't make you anxious, but you'll need to have 'days off' to avoid developing a tolerance. I take it for fibromyalgia and I find that I'm more exhausted on my 'off days' than I would be without it.

Also, because it's not a stimulant, it doesn't make things more interesting. It just wakes you up.
