I've been on MMT for 4 years, 3.5+ of it i've been on a regular dosage which is 150mg/ml. We have water based codeine, not the syrup that rots teeth and makes people think methadone has something to do with it. They are actually handing out booklets about the actual facts of being an opiate IDU. I never used needles, I was born with a weird thing in that its impossible to see my veins. Whenever they need to get blood from me they have to use a cannula. its a medical thing they stick to your vein because my veins keep on swimming and it would be impossible to get a needle in, register .. and by then, the wein is long gone. i cant lie, ive had succesful IV's but i've already been so addicted that the IV doses did nothing for me, so i just sticked to smoking it off of foil. it was 99x more better also, i could have a smoke the second i got my fent and get out of this w/d. i didnt have a care in the world where-when-why i needed to use, if i needed to use i would do so, like it was the most normal thing in the world. i never remember anybody seeing me and watching me or looking twice. i was once in the CBD's main shopping centre in the car park and had the sunroof on tilt and window open a bit so the sweet swell would fade away more quickly. im smoking a 10eur wrap, about to smoke another one (i used to use 30-35 bags daily). 1g = 240€ (good price) for 30-35 bags (it all depends on who makes the bags and how greedy he/she is and whether he'sshe's a user obv). the guy i dealt with the whole time had just gotten out of prison doing a 5 year bid and he got straight hardcore, only drinking and weed, nothing else. DEF no fent. he used to be an IDU, steal to get his dope etc. it was the thefts and the amount of them that sent him to prison for this long.
Anyway, what i really wanted to know, was that, if you have been on an exact dose of methadone every single day and taking at about the same time (2-6hrs window or so), can you skip a day without feeling anything is wrong with you or if you feel bad you can recognize its some type of placebo and you are Actually still ok?
I made a stupid mistake and took my dose twice in a day so i wont have anything for one whole day. I used to have like 2-3 liters of methadone stored up (is it a good idea to store up methadone just like that, you know, for later use? i kept it at 25c and away from light. should i have frozen it? its water based methadone 1mg/ml, as i stated. should be same anywhere in EU, our 'done comes from Denmark. I'd also love to hear other experiences about what happened when you're methadone ran out and what you did. Since my dose is 150mg, i dont think any other opiate expect 10-20 bags of 3-MF could touch that. But im never going to waste 200EUR for that crap.
Also, has you're bodies speed of digestion turned back to "normal" (how it was before opiates) or is it still as slow as humanly possible even 5+ years in? I understand, my dosage has also at least SOMETHING to do with it, but i dont use any medicines to help with this stuff, and maybe i should. Any other things people on MMT or just long-term methadone would like to ask/talk about that is not necessarily abut my theme of how long does it get for you to get a regular dose and can you then skip a day if needed
