Misc mixing cocaine and xanax?

i've done it plenty of times because i am prescribed the xans and i love mixing the two (at low doses of xanax) i find that it decreases the anxiety and heart rate from the coke and you can accually enjoy the body buzz from the coke (which i didnt know existed lol). i take 4mg xanax everyday so i have a tolerance and it doesnt give me a buzz when i take my scripted dosages. i find it GREAT for the comedown with some good nug and i fall asleep just fine. but i was just wondering if it was dangerous to do this? even tho i have a tolerance and my body is used to and cant go without the benzo.....

i used the search engine btw (for you pple who just love to throw that out there) and all i found was a bunch of mixed answers and even pple saying they know of pple who have died mixing the two. i also dont do the coke so rapidly because i'm kinda chilled out and not feinin for another line every 5 minutes lol.

i dunno i just want to know what you guys think. i tend to never over do it with coke cuz it scares me cuz i'm a downer kinda person. (was a heroin user for 2 years and IV'd the shit for the last 6 months about 3.5 grams a day...got a 40,000 dollar settlement from a car wreck and blew it in less than 4 months...

IMO i think its safe just by the way i feel on the two, not too antsy but not too chilled either.....just in between, i love the buzz from the two and my heart doesnt palpitate like it usually does when i dont take ne benzos while doin the blow (another reason raw scares me) but thats just stupid telling myself that just by the way it makes me feel. i used to shoot heroin straight into my veins for gods sake lol

I would be very interested to see the claims that people apparently have made that would suggest dying from combining alprazolam and cocaine.

It is so entirely difficult to die from alprazolam alone; when administered to a person with a relatively high benzo tolerance, its GABA-enhancing properties should actually help reduce the cardiotoxicity of cocaine (which you say is already administered leisurely) by reducing hypertension, amongst other benefits.

be careful: the xanax could make you do more coke and not feel as high from it. While the benzo might reduce the symptoms of an imminent cocaine OD, it definately won't prevent it.

So my advice is to keep in mind that you may be closer to an OD than you think...
I have watched someone OD on cocaine and they were very close to dead. They had eaten 4mg of xanax and were not tolerant. I was told by doctors that if I had gotten him to the ER fifteen minutes later he would not be around any more....

OP, are you tolerant to your alprazolam? Do they just make you feel normal and anxiety-free?
Or do you still catch a buzz of them... The more tolerant you are, the safer you can judge how coked-out you are simply by how you are feeling.

I've heard many people swear by Benzos for cocaine comedown (taken shortly after their LAST line). Coke has it's health issues, but the only way I believe Xanax will exacerbate them is by impairing the users judgement about how much Coke he/she should do.

FYI it's common for cocaine to induce a panic attack in someone prone to them, in turn panic attacks are often mistaken by those suffering from them as a heart attack or overdose. When these patients arrive in an ER they will be given a large dose of a benzo even after they've told the Dr they had recently injested cocaine. I take this to mean they do NOT contraindict each other.
