Would Mirtazapine provide any neuroprotective benefits and/or aid in recovery if used by itself or perhaps potentiate its behaviour if used in conjunction with the supplement l-tyrosine?

This would be in conjunction with just amphetamine use, however, I was also wondering if it offers any benefits if used to aid in recovery from MDMA if methamphetamine wasn't used.

You're thinking like, how 5-HTP and SSRIs protect from MDMA induced neurotoxicity? Well blockade of dopamine and noradrenaline transporters will stop methamphetamine from working all together.. Just like SSRIs and MDMA... i.e. if you take MDMA and SSRIs together you get no neurotoxicity, and no high... take them close enough together you get some high and some neurotoxicty.
