MiPT - 1st time
We took MIPT at R’s flat. He and I took 25mg, F took 20mg. F and I seemed to feel an almost immediate alert & then there were mild symptoms of a metallic feeling, slight headiness, tingles in the chest & slight mood lift rising just perceptibly. After an hour I had a smile on my face and a twisty head sensation and felt somewhat spacey watching the steam rise from a pan of water on the cooker. From here on there was a brightening of the visual field and other faint optical effects.
At many points I forgot I was on anything and then realised there was indeed something, delicate but real, going on. As it got a little stronger I lay down listening to the music in a sort of very mild state of ego loss. R was already stoned and I now started to vaporise skunk. F is not a regular user, and wanted to see what the drug did on it’s own, but relented, saying, as we all felt, that it needed that extra push from cannabis. Probably around this time I peaked, in so far as there was a peak. The metallic physical sensation was much more prominent and there was a trippiness to my thinking. I felt in good spirits. Conversation became more animated. It was very clear headed and did indeed seem to act as some form of cognitive stimulant. We discussed metaphysical concepts relating to God and R had something of a revelation when I explained infinity as infinitely more conceivable a concept than that of the finite. We also discussed sexual morality, a friend experimenting with an open relationship.
We all fell quiet and very passive for a while and lay spaced out – music was a nicely enhanced without the effect of competing material arising as can happen with stronger compounds. With eyes closed I cannot say there were visuals but there was something going off. At around 3 hours I swallowed some hash and we walked to town enjoying the gentle tryptamine intensification of it all and largely lost in thought. We passed through the graveyard feeling the calm deadness around. In the bar we again became rather passive and eventually, feeling a little tired/stoned, departed for home.
I would not like to give the impression that this was an exciting or impressive material and this probably has quenched my curiosity regarding it, however both F and I found the experience somehow rather rewarding despite it’s low key and we all enjoyed it. I would put it in a class of intensity along with 2C-C; although the style and content is very different they are similarly gentle, simple, user friendly and seemingly requiring cannabis but still at least hinting at something deeper.
The duration was essentially 6-8hrs with complete baseline beyond ten.
