I just took a purple 1mg fpreign brand alprozolam tablet and it had a distinct mint taste.

I know k- pins do but wtf with this? anyone have this experience. Bunk pills?

i know that clonazepam has a minty kind of taste but alprazolam, from my experience, is extremely bitter.

fake foreign pills? sounds sketchy to me. ive never had alprazolam that tasted minty. it always tasted to me like i just licked asphalt or something rusty

Umm, could it have been a klonopin you were told was a xanax? The dosage is the same...but yeah, alprazolam is foul tasting and no brand I've encountered is minty at all whatsoever, although I've been handed "xanax" and knew from the pill/checking online that it was actually klonopin and yep, it was minty. I feel like some people don't know the difference between the benzos and call them all by the same relatively well-known name.

Yeah, clonazepam has a minty taste, but I had a friend who said alprazolam made his toungue go numb (when he just placed the tab on his tounge for a while). I would guess clonazepam or something else all together....

Xanax (alprazolam) is probably the worst tasting medication in pill form I have ever tasted. Its not minty at all. Clonazepam on the other hand has a sweet minty taste to it. You are probably right: bunk pills.
