Minor surgery & general anaesthetic days/weeks following amphetamine/speed use, OK?

I'm due to have some minor non invasive surgery over the next month (15-30 minute procedure), I have recently, one day ago, used a small amount of street speed, I don't know when specifically my surgery will be but estimate 1-4 weeks from now, are there any risks with undergoing medical anaesthesia following my amphetamine use?

I understand that my vitals will be monitored during this - but I just want to put my mind at ease.

Little more info:
I am young and healthy, have spoken to an anesthetist (pre-op assessment) who believes I am fit for anesthetic.

The amps would have left your system entirely in the matter of a few days leaving you the way you were before you did them. If you were fit before you'll be fit a week after.

Thanks for replying, I did not even consider the 12 hour half life.

Probably the most innocent post I've seen on Bluelight in a longggg time (and that's a compliment).

You'll be totally fine, I asked the same question a while back for minor invasive surgery while ON amphetamines, and I was totally fine. Only thing it did was make the local anesthetic last a tad bit longer haha

This is just for reference's sake. Just because my experience didn't end in catastrophe, doesn't mean that yours won't.

A few years back, I was a regular (once a week) binge user of prescription stimulants. Lots of Dextroamphetamine, but mostly mixed salts as they were available on a more regular basis. I'd use anywhere from 40mg - 200mg in a 24 hour period depending upon my schedule the following day and what kind of sedatives I had on hand. Anyway...

Against my better judgement, the day prior to a long overdue wisdom tooth extraction I had used maybe 150mgs of sustained release Dextroamphetamine. I took the pills around 5 or 6 in the PM; my surgery was scheduled for 7:30 or 8 in the AM the following morning. I was still pretty high when I arrived to check in. Once I got "hooked up" to the diagnostic equipment, the Dr. remarked that my blood pressure and pulse were unusually high for a thin/young person. I brushed it off and claimed that I was extremely nervous in regards to the surgery and she continued on.

3 of my 4 wisdom teeth were severely impacted so I was put under "twilight sleep". I got an IV of Fentanyl and Diazepam simultaneously, which I'm told is pretty routine for this sort of thing. The Dr. said "goodnight" facetiously like doctors always do and I felt a bit of a rush. However, even after the drip had hit me, I was still wide awake. The doc said, sometimes people need a "double-dose", so I got a second push of both meds. I felt pretty great at this point, still buzzing from the speed and with a healthy Benzo/Opiate cocktail coursing through my blood. The asked me to repeat a sentence, to count to ten, and the city of my birth all of which I was able to do. After that, the doctor irritatedly gave me a third and final push.

Point is, I was still wide-awake for the surgery even after the third push. I just closed my eyes and relaxed as I felt the doc must have been suspicious of me and I didn't want my status as a drug-abuser to blow my chances of getting some Oxy/Hydro after the appointment. As she pulled the wisdome teeth from my jaw, I felt a slight ticklish feeling.

Just some food for thought. I can imagine there are certain operations that would not be quite as enjoyable to be coherent through.

Holy fucking shit dude that sounds amazing ahahahahahahaha
Probably incredibly dangerous btw, lucky you are alive but damn that'd be awesome.
I got the same thing (only once though) for my wisdom teeth, shit felt insane but i only felt it for like 30 secs before passing out.
OP if you haven't gotten the message you're definitely fine, see above post for reference ahahaha.
