mexican commercial' does it have the ability to be great marijuana?

I wonder if commercial grade pot seeds; if grown right and not allowed to bare seeds could actually be quality smoke. I think its possible but im not sure. But come to think of it commercial pot is seeded, cured as fast as possible, smashed into bricks, and may go through as many as onehundred hands before it goes to the user. But i bet you could grow bomb sinsemilla out of bag seed if you did it right. what do you all think about this.
 
It'd grow the same strain as the herb it came with, and since herb isnt a drug thats generally 'cut' you probably wont be getting shit thats much better than the original 'commercial' you bought. Still, you might as well try, maybe if you have a good 'grow' it might come out better, but probably not that much. Check out overgrow.com for some good info on growing
 
Most of the seeds will produce similar potency pot, but ofcourse you'll have exceptions which can come out very surprising.
 
it will definitely come out better than what your bought, but don't expect some miracle weed or anything.
 
If you manicure it, nuture it, and dry it properly it will turn out MUCH better than the original strain
 
The product has nothing to do with quality of pot when grown from their seeds. You can get top quality shit gorwn off of shitty pot seeds. Its all in genetics. Only the grower can make the best of his product.
 
potency will stay just about the same, although you can a better looking product....
 
the reason why commercial weed sucks is how its grown. they dont care in growing their pot, they don't seperate males from females and allow the female plants to be polinated by the males, resulting in seeds. they dont give plants nutrients ect and is just grown in very shitty conditions.

however, its about the genetics of the marijuana, thats what its all about. if you grow out seeds from some commercial(good seeds, dark black/brown with stripes) and grow them in good conditions. like an hps light, fertilize it correctly and just give it love and care like any other marijuana plant, you will end up with a great finished product. the quality has nothing to do with it. using seeds from commercial or any other bag seed you find are great for practice.
 
I got a massive bag of the shittiest weed I've ever seen a while ago for dirt ass cheap. The shit was like half seeds, soaking wet, it was disgusting. Long story short, I gave some seeds away for my buddy to grow....and it turned out incredible.

Mexcan Poo Pot has been treated like shit from the minute it sprouted. If you take the most beautiful rose in the world, and try and grow it in your closet with a few hours of light a day and barely any water its gonna look like shit. But if you grow the same seeds in front of a window with lots of water and nutrients and all that shit its gonna be amazing.

Genetics are only 1/4 of the equation.
 
Mexican weed has some very good genetics, it's a shame how shitty the plants are grown down there. Back in the day, some of the best buds came from there.
 
You can have the shittiest schwag but if it came with seeds and you grew some...I can guarantee you will shit your pants! IMO, the best sativa is come from Mexico!

Yes, genetics do matter, but the way you grow it & eventually dry it matters much more!
 
Have you ever gotten good brick weed? I know I have, just because it's from Mexico or it's heavily seeded doesn't mean it has poor genetics. Most mass crops do not get the attention per plant that marijuana requires. The whole idea behind not growing bagseed is to take out the chance that it does have poor genetics. The reason people pay for seeds from breeders is because those seeds are garunteed to have good genetics, at least if it's a stabilized strain.
 
The reason people pay for them is so they know their genetics and get the best of the best genetics. Any seed will produce potent pot if you half ass know how to grow anything, it is more involved in the process itself than the seed you chose. Genetics is not at all what makes the quality of good or shitty weed, but of course its best to know your genetics and get the best possible genetics ;p. Some brick weed is very good, other brick weed isnt.
