I recently suffered a spine fracture and got some of this to tide me over until I see my doc. Anyhow, just a couple of these near floor me! I have a ton of experience with benzos (my last binge was 180mg of lorazepam in 4 days) and the body relaxation I get from methocarbamol is better than any benzo I've tried.

My questions are: is there any practical danger of ODing on this stuff (alone or in combo with oxy and/or Valium)?
Can these be subjected to a CWE to rid them of the APAP?

Yes you can take too much. I have taken methocarbamol before and it will knock you on your butt. There is not any Tylenol in methocarbamol. One brand has aspirin in it but none listed Tylenol.

What are you wanting to CWE out of the tabs? Check out this page it will help you know what in your tabs:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methocarbamol

The tabs should also say so somewhere on the packaging or on the box, its Paracetamol (APAP) that you really need to avoid and I'm not sure that any of the other additions would be removed by CWE.

It's useful for some as a muscle relaxant, others don't get any medical (or recreational) use out of it...but you can overdose.

Be careful if you're mixing it with other depressants, including opiates, benzos and alcohol.

The pills I had initially contained methocarbamol 400 mg and acetaminophen 500 mg. I would take 4 of these to good effect. Then I discovered I could get pills with methocarbamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 200mg, so I switched to those. Again 4 lead to a good effect. Since travelling to Texas I have discovered that while methocarbamol is OTC in Canada, it's prescription only in the US. Very unfortunate, because I found the methocarbamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 200mg to do wonders for my back.

what's CWE and APAP mean?

APAP is an abbreviation for acetaminophen (aka Tylenol or paracetamol) which is dangerous for a person's liver if taken in large quantities. Hence the reason for a CWE (cold water extraction) a procedure to extract it from the tablets. Feel free to use the search engine if you have further questions.

^ Soma is the shit!!

But anyway regarding Methocarbamol....I was presribed this med for a unrelated injury and found that it provided mild sedation and relief from symptoms of withdrawal. Definitely not recreational but would make for good potentiation with certain drugs...
