Hey, so I've heard that methcathinone synthesised from ephedrine results a stronger isomer of methcathinone. That true? I'm getting mixed info, I've read before that cat from pseudo is stronger, now I heard the one from ephedrine is stronger, and I've just read erowid page where it says that oxidation yields racemate...

Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine are molecules which have two chiral carbon atoms: the atom which is connected to nitrogen and the carbon which is connected to the hydroxy group. After oxidation to methcathinone, theres only one chiral carbon (the one connected to nitrogen). I don't think there's a difference between methcathinone products made from ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.

I once made methcathinone myself (by oxidizing pseudoephedrine), and IME its a shitty stimulant anyway, so why bother about it.

Thanks for answer, it appears there is no difference between using pseudo and ephedrine. Both work.

IME it's quite good euphoriant, for some reason it's the best thing available to mix with depressants (i.e. GBL), and what else do people have? Unknown-risk brephedrones, parafluoroamphetamines or illegal mephedrone. Cat is somewhat popular where I live.
