So, i used to be perscribed adderal IR and XR (both 30mg), now just XR. and for my instant release im rx'ed methamp (genereic desoxyn).
On adderal i had no libido, instead of feeling up/kissing/acting intimate with my gf i would just be playing xbox, doing homework, cleaning incessantly...so and and so forth.
Today was my first day on the generic m.amp. (10mg) and i had a much more elevated libido, and i didnt really notice anything in comparison to the concentration or stuff like that...is there anyone who is taking desoxyn who has any information on their personal experience of taking it?

NOTE: 10mg is just my starting dose, im supposed to go up to 10mg 2x a day.

I once asked my doc about desoxyn out of curiosity since my adderall tolerance has gotten so high. It was pretty much an immediate negative so I never asked again.

I love my adderall, and for legitimate prescribed reasons, but I could definitely use something that's stronger and lasts longer. Is this worth a second discussion with my doc? Or do I need to discuss upping my adderall dosage?
 
id say talk to you doc again, mine is hella chill with me. i talked a load of pharmacological stuff to her so she knows i know how to take care of myself. what mg of addy are you at? i stopped at 30mg addy then switched to 10mg of desoxyn. i reallllyyy realllly like it in comparison. its like adderall with out the ball and chain of zombieness

Well I had a strong relationship with my doc down in Houston, but unfortunately just moved to Dallas area and started out with a new doc. I want to develop a better relationship with him first before asking for something like Desoxyn.

I'm on 60mg/day of Adderall but I feel like I could easily go 120mg without issue (I often self-medicate to this amount anyway).

I don't feel like I have the "zombieness" you're talking about though. In the early days (5-6 years ago) when I first started on Add, then yes maybe. But now my tolerance is so high that I rarely get that feeling anymore.
 
Hmm, thats good that you dont get spacy. i always thought it came from lack of food at the end of the day in combination with the comedown.
so far the desoxyn has been working pretty well, but im still scripted 30mg xr for long days. =]
 
I was prescribed desoxyn a few months ago (no longer) after being at the same dose of adderall. It is extremely rare to find a doctor who will prescribe that medication - as it is pretty much only prescribed for morbid obesity (according to my doc), and was only previously used as a diet medication.

Honestly, I preferred adderall to the desoxyn. It was MUCH more expensive and in my opinion did NOT have any significantly euphoric effects (not any MORE so), or...anything really to shout about. If you really want to switch meds I wouldn't push for desoxyn. You may get a red flag waved in your direction. From someone who has had that red flag waved at them...cuidado.

my thoughts exactly, asking for that is asking for trouble. I wouldn't, you might risk loosing what you have and end up fucked

If I were you, being at the top of the prescribed speed mountain as you are, I would just drop hints about the amp you are prescribed not working as well and hope your doc connects the dots to the new stuff you are hoping for.

Yeah I'm going to hold off on asking specifically for anything different. The Add works fine, just that my prescribed dose of 60mg/day is lucky to get me from 8 AM to lunch.

If I have to work late or get personal shit done after work is over at 5, then not a chance.

The downside to taking more Add also is that I only get the benefits for 1-2 hours per dose, but I can still get the negatives like sleep loss and headaches.
 
intranasal desoxyn or ritalin is ok for me:) i tried a few other amphs too but all of them make me feel shitty
 
I have done Adderall, Ritalin, and Desoxyn (all recreationally) and I don't really like the desoxyn. Its really hard to get anyways. I liked the ritalin the best.
 
Sounds like the increased serotonergic action of methamphetamine is causing you to have an increased libido.
 
Obetrol was the old name for adderall. Shire changed it when they bought the rights to it. Started out a mix of dextromethamph and dextro/levoamph. Then evolved to the dex/levo mix it still is today. Never seen anyone use the old name as a call brand.

Desoxyn is the king of pharm uppers next maybe would be dexedrine

but yeah dude your doctor has you on meth straight up

in the opiate world, he took u off of oxy and put u on heroin

and if meth doesnt give ur libido the swift kick in the ass it needed then u probably have a libido issue
 
haha, while it did give my libido a jump start i find desoxyn to be much much smoother and less tweakky then adderal.
i bet obetral must have been pretty effectvice...given the right balance of dmeth and lamp
 
question - is desoxyn D-methamphetamine or is it racemic
Can Amphetamine Sulphate ever be made into or come as Amphetamine hcl? Whether it be dextro or both isomers
