TDS Methadone withdrawal... possible strange tolerance to all drugs?

Hey, so, I'm new here and I've read a lot on this site about how long it takes to get high from opiates again after being on opiates, but nothing exactly answers my question.



I know someone who was on 100mg of methadone daily for a year. She fucked up and started getting high on other things and got kicked out of the methadone program. Left to withdrawal at 100mg. This led her to start taking liquid hydrocdone, knowing she wouldn't get high, just for the withdrawal. Then she started taking benzos when she ran out, and using meth for about a week two. She now seemingly can't get high on ANYthing. She could take benzo after benzo, smoke meth :| for hours and do hot rails, and nothing. I know methadone only "blocks" opiates, so I don't understand why. That's one question, because she know she didn't build a tolerance like that to those things over 2 weeks.

My more important question is when will she be able to feel opiates again after taking 100mg for a year, how long until she can feel them again? I heard some people never get to feel them again after taking methadone for a while. :?
 
You can still feel opiates I'm sure. It's just going to be highly dose and substance dependent. Hydrocodone is weak 100mg of methadone is equal to roughly 400mg of hydrocodone just for perspective so you need heroin or something strong like that to get off sick.
 
Well l don't think she isn't getting high, just not getting any relief from the other substances. When you are detoxing from that many opiates you are going to feel terrible no matter what else you take. That is A LOT of methadone. Also method an xanax counteract each other.
 
sup tiny pink.. i have been on 80 mgs methadone for about 13 months and just got layed of from work and can no longer aford to dose any more went 4 days of climbing the walls and then couldnt take it any more and had to use the big H..did about 2 tenths just to get rid of the willies and bam....nice lil warm feeling was back...and no more withdrawals ...im going to go as long as i can before i have to use again ...and so on and so on.....so for me it was 4 days....good luck with all ..and chin up..
 
oh ps tiny pink ... ummm might want to find a new meth dealer ..i dont think the blocking agent has anything to do with meth buzz good luck and stay safe...

I shot up H while I was still on the methadone (first time using the IV method) and I felt a short, subtle ush for maybe 5 minutes. Almost nothing at all. What method did ou use the H? I'm not fond of needles lol.
