Ok, this is my first post on this website, although i have been coming here for information maybe for 10 years now, Thank you to everyone who is active and informative for all your knowledge the past 10 years.
Now, the reason i am posting this thread is because i recently ran into a problem with my Opiot drug replacement therapy. I was living in South Boston for the past seven years and decided to move out to colorado springs when my life hit the fan agian. When i got here, i had a problem getting my doctor to write scripts for my suboxone that i was taking for the past year and a half at 16MG a day. Everything i do is usually through the VA Medical Centers, but every now and then i have to go private practice in order to get things done a little quicker.
Needless to say, when i got here it was actually alot harder to find a Methadone clinic than i anticipated. I was detoxing for two straight weeks, i didnt want to do anything or see anyone. If you have detoxed before, its like the Heroin Detox, only alot longer and worse. When i finally did find the clinic i relised that i could have gotten well alot sooner than i did if i was able to get the information i needed sooner. So, my mission is to help you to not go through what i just did.
There is only one clinic left in Colorado springs, So if you keep finding Places that list more than one place, there all old numbers and every one you call will be disconnected.
There is one doctor within 60 miles who does this here, im not sure why the hell all the other clinics are gone now, but aparently something happened and they all went away,.
If you live in the Colorado Springs Area and are looking for a methadone or suboxone Clinic, (methadone is alot cheaper)
Here is the information you need :

Here is the cost and the process for Methadone (suboxone will run you over 350$ the first day you intake)
Intake Fee: 76$
Dose Fee: 11$ a Dose, Regaurdless of your dose size.
Initial Starting Dose: 30MG of Liguid Methadone (this will make you feel better, not perfect, just better) The dose goes up every day.
Off site Dosing: 50$ (not sure what this means yet, but when i find out i will update)
This is for the most part what you need to know in order to get into this clinic. How it went for me was.. After calling over 80 difffrent phone numbers, i ran into this place and gave them a call for the 5th time.. They close at noon and i have the worst luck, so ofcourse i had to wait a whylle to actually get ahold of someone cuz it was a weekend. Once you Call them and tell them what it is your trying to do Methadone or Suboxone, you will get a call back on your cellphone about 30 min later from a "Case worker" for screening into the program. This call takes about 15 min just to make sure your eligible. They want you to be clean for 24hrs, but a posotive test will not stop you from dosing that day. After he says your all good to come in, you show up at 530.. or anytime before 8am and start filling out the paperwork. only after you pay the 76$ though. once paperwork is filled out, you will see a case worker, most likely the same guy you talked to yesterday. he will have a few more papers to sign then you go wait for the doctor. after you talk to the doctor, she dictates your dose and makes sure you understand that methadone is a very serious commitment. after that, you go back in the waiting room and the state will make sure your not registered at any other clinics making sure your not double dosing. About 30 min will go by before they call and let them know you are good to go. Once you get that call, you get to dose. Give it about 30-40 min, and youll feel better. After this stage of the process, you will have been there for about 4 hours and filled out so many pieces of paper youll be thinking about stabbing someone with the pen lol. After all this though, you go home, continue life. Every day here after, its 11$ per dose, takes about 5 min in and out, no hassles, just keeps you well.
I hope someone finds this one day and its everything they were looking for.. Just wouldent wish my last two weeks on anyone.. ever...
If you have any other questions let me know and i will do my best to answer them, either about methadone or suboxone.
See ya Bluelight people, thanks agian for being an awesome site, i hope this post saves someone there sanity when trying to find a Clinic in this area. Peace out.
