Hey guys,

Approx. 24 hours ago, I had a single dose of 25mg's Methadone. ( I'm not on any sort of 'done protocol or anything, it was just recreational.)

Will I be able to safely smoke BTH right now, and feel the effects?
 
Yes. 25mg's is not a blocking dose.

What you have to worry about is potential overdose, as doing dope on top of the methadone could put you over the edge, especially if you're still taking all that xanax at the same time.
 
Methadone usually sticks around for 24hrs as a single dose. I think you will be fine smoking dope. You might wanna smoke A little more than your usual though.

However if you can wait longer, the better.
 
^You should be able to, if it's been 24 hours and you only took 25mgs. Be careful, and dose as you normally would. It might slightly affect the high, but only very slightly...if at all.
 
Well i went ahead and smoked some.. and yeah, does any dose of methadone have a blocking effect on other opiates, to a certain degree?

I ask this because, I'm not quite feeling the BTH as I normally do when I smoke it.

And, no I haven't dosed any xanax today, lol. Thanks for looking out though.
 
^It doesn't actually competitively bind to the receptors the way buprenorphine does, but for all intents and purposes, it does "block you" from getting high on other opiates, particularly on doses over 50 mgs...

Any opiates you take on top of methadone are still present and affecting you though, whether you feel it or not, which is why it's dangerous to try to "cut through" methadone with other opiates...Just wait until you're clear of the methadone before using anything else, which for a one time dose of 25 mgs, you should at least be close to that point at the 24 hour mark...
