So I snorted a decent line like 2 days ago. No rush or anything cause I suck at snorting so I did that line very slowly so it was a longer comeup. Anyways I got the typical high, hyper wanna move and do shit, basically I walked around my house doing nothing, opening stuff and closing it back, putting chairs back into their place, then I cleaned my room why some toilet cleaner I found downstairs, talked super fast on skype well you basic stuff you know. I didn't binge or redose.

Now the 2nd day at like 7pm, I get a random wave of bad mood, very angry feeling, I felt like a bomb about to explode. I almost put some holes in my room walls and felt like breaking stuff or just beating someone up. I raged hard, I also got unmoded on a forum and there I just want almost mental, my teeth were grinding from anger, I was swearing. I never been that angry in my whole life! I'm usually pretty chill with stuff and won't get upset quickly over small things, but this time I was the complete opposite. It lasted about an hour where nothing could of changed my state of mind. Any words someone told me I took it as a personal insult or provocation.

Is this normal for a meth comedown the following day or two?

This was the first time since 3 months I've used meth, it was my 3rd time only. I'm usually a very happy mood guy, this just wasn't the normal me!

My only explanation is the lack of dopamine or something along those lines?

That's one of the things that makes methamphetamine so scary. I don't know why you're so shocked or confused about what happened, have you never heard of people getting that rage on meth?

I've been through some really intense fucked up shit situations due to this aspect of crystal, god forbid you're ever in a situation where someone around you gets that rage.

There's really nothing I can think of to avoid it, because as you experienced, it can happen out of nowhere, sort of like you just snap in and out of it, and from what I've seen in people, the more you do meth the more you do what I'll call rapid cycling, for lack of a better term (rapid cycling is a dangerous psychological state for bipolar people who rapidly switch between depressive, manic, and hypomanic states), IMO it is heavily dose dependent, but methamphetamine is an extremely potent drug and it can be volatile, unpredictable.

I'm sure it's not this way for everyone, I'm sure there are some people who have bad days where they get meth-rage but it's not a regular thing. But oh man, I'm so biased in this regard because I've seen some crazy people do things that you just wouldn't expect of a human being, because this drug really affects your judgement. Crystal methamphetamine is unregulated, you never know exactly how much you're taking, or even exactly what you're taking. There are huge risks to methamphetamine abuse, it is an epidemic, people are dying for this, people are killing for this.

I'm not trying to preach, do whatever you want, but you need to educate yourself about what you're putting into your body. I mean, no offense meant at all but if you didn't know that your mood changes are a direct result of your drug abuse with perhaps the most potent mood altering drug. Learn everything you can about methamphetamine before you commit to abusing it, you do not want to find out the consequences first hand, please see how others have been affected and fully educate yourself on the drugs you take.

I would say it is far more revealing and of more value to consider how you behave within the meth experience. The zero inhibitions/anxiety and strong euphoria ensures the real you comes out. I find this state very useful by analysing my behavior at the time, once sober, and implementing corrective measures where required.

Seriously I would never judge myself by my behaviour during a comedown situation where you are chemically and physically in a state of pure negativity, disuphoria etc. Its like passing judgement on a good person because they reacted violently to witnessing their family being murdered. Doesnt make sense. Personally i avoid comedowns with Seroquel, if you deal with it by random raging then thats fine. If i wanted to judge or understand you however id watch you when high.

So dont stress about wierd comedown behavior but if you where raging and aggressive while ephouric then i would get worried...

Alright thanks guys for the feedback I appreciate, no I wasn't aware you could have meth-rage and be this angry as a reaction to a comedown/after effect. I just exploded like a bomb. No i wasn't angry while high, not even close to angry I was feeling good even with my low dose, hyper, boring stuff seemed to become pleasant to do and all that basic stuff.

This meth come down is a scary thing. This is why 90% of the crime in Nevada is meth related. People will come down, get mad, and steal anything they can to get their next fix.

Its normal. I get that too. Particularly only when I snort it. When I smoke it, I don't really get it.
