A quick HR checkup guys please in case this grows into paranoia and annoys me (and a web search risks obsessive trap for hours to find the answer so have pity)
I would like to confirm if the risk with meth is hyper or hypothermia. I always assumed keeping cool was best correct?
I am at the usual point in the high where temp is hard to tell, there is that usual layer of comfort telling you you are at the perfect temp and where you try keep cool and assume you are hot because you will sweat with a blanket or activity and your face feels hot. I usually keep cool with a fan in a room i know would be comfortably cool where i sober. I do however always notice a permanent case of goodflesh indicating im a bit cool but i brush this off to an overreaction of overheating skin to the fans breeze and usually ignore the myriad of wierd side effects and just try to make sure im not sweating or getting really hot and getting liquids and that stuff.
Anyways, an accidental contact with another person here (i do this stuff alone and avoid people mostly) resulted in them pointing out that i am literally ice cold to the touch and they where quite concerned. So now i am left confused and what passes for concerned when high and the usual indicators of the actual status are useless. Touching my skin tells me on part is cool and the other warm but i cant tell which is which?
I understand its the vasoconstriction causing the cool skin im guessing on the outside so im sure im not freezing to death right? My high is telling me not to give a shit and that i am indestructible but perhaps i should just confirm? I have also wondered in the past so it would be good to know and the last time i heard about the temp risks it was emphasized as very bad should it go to far, but now im not sure if its to hot or to cold. Dont say both please, say the biggest bad guy and if i need to get warmer taking that action with clothing or blankets will cause sweating so wtf? It is quite a quandary i must say.
Thank you.
