Stimulants Meth and MDMA cause this?

So since June I have done two lots of MDMA ( 84mg, and 90mg), and four lots of meth ( 60mg, 40mg, 20mg, 20mg).

I did the 60mg of meth around Aug, and then the rest last couple of weeks. I hate it, but I still did it.

Anyway for the past few days I have felt off. All I seem to do is sleep and eat, and I dont enjoy much of anything. I'm not unhappy or depressed but I cant say I'm happy either. I dont even enjoy my drug of choice lyrica anymore. I am totally off baseline in terms of mood, as I am/was somewhat upbeat indibidual and I am CERTAINLY upbeat and happy on lyrica. But now nothing.

What happened?

Well I felt the same way for about a week after using mdma and meth together... Didn't do more than I had before or for a longer period of time, but I did have a lot more stress come up in my life and had been using slightly more frequently (every other weekend vs. once every few months...) After three days of doing nothing but sleeping I started to feel more human, and by a week later I was shaky still but pretty much back to normal. Think I need to give it a break for 5-6 months, it almost feels like my brain saying, yes, that is fun and all but enough is enough.

How often do you use lyrica?

Those are very low doses of both mdma and meth.

Could you be withdrawling from lyrica which works on the GABA receptors, which are prone to have nasty long term withdrawals that can kinda creep up on you.

Sounds a lot like you've used up all your dopamine stores and now you've got none. This is why you get depressed the day after you take x.

I get like this (eat sleep eat sleep) after an opiate binge for probably the same reasons. Low endorphins, low dopamine. I'm surprised that the lyrica isn't helping, though.
Just sleep and stay hydrated and see if it doesn't clear up in a week or so.

My lyrica use is twice a week at no more than 300mg, so its not WD from that. I am taking it every other day now, just to see if I get back to feeling happy. I think its a case of low endorphins, and low dopamine. I also have the flu now so maybe its been the build up to that as well.

Also lyrica is known to poop out so I might either have to take a break and reset the tolerance or like, find something that might do the job.

I'm doing the whole gym, sauna, coconut water, magneium thing too...hopefully back on track soon enough.

Both meth and MDMA suppress appetite and reduce the desire to sleep.

Naturally when you stop taking these substances, particularly after a heavy binge or long-term use, you get the reverse effects.

Don't worry, you will be back to normal in a few weeks.

In the mean time realize that both the desire to sleep and eat can be psychologically circumvented, just as these drugs can do it, but it takes willpower instead of just a chemical response.

You'd be surprised at the rate of which your mind can influence your mood, with or without drugs. Just keep an optimistic outlook and realize you are perfectly fine.

Happiness is a psychological state of mind, which certainly can be influenced by drugs, but the largest factor in your personal happiness is your own mind. If you feel happy taking drugs, it will enhance the effect. If you feel upset about taking them, it will sometimes create a negative effect. There's more to human emotions then simple chemical states.

Also lyrica is known to poop out so I might either have to take a break and reset the tolerance or like, find something that might do the job.

I would consult your doctor and describe how you are feeling. Why are you taking Lyrica? Again, happiness is more complex than simply taking a drug and feeling happy.

Are you taking it for anxiety? Does it still work for this purpose? Pretty much all the prescription drugs don't induce much euphoria (intense happiness) likes street drugs do.

Strength training + cardiovascular exercise, and making sure you get adequate nutrition will really help. What specifically you eat doesn't matter, just makes sure you get adequate protein and fats, possibly fiber and complex carbohydrates (depending on your views of current nutritional knowledge), as well as micro-nutrients.

It might be hard to actually workout in this state though, so realistically I suggest just trying to get some walking outside in the day, as this accomplishes a few things. First, you'll get decent cardiovascular conditioning, which will release endorphins and get your heart rate up (while also lowering blood pressure), which will help elevate your mood, next, walking in the sunlight will give you vitamin D which has shown to combat depression of all kinds, including serotonin depletion in the case of MDMA, and finally, you'll also get a chance to think and reflect as you walk, which might help you find what truly makes you happy and life.

As for food, you will be craving sugary simple carbohydrates during withdrawal. I don't know why this is, but I can personally verify its accuracy. I think it is because they give the quickest boost of energy and sugar tends to operate like a weak stimulant. I also crave caffeine during this time, for the same reason. Try out a diet higher in protein and fat. You won't get the quick boost of energy like some of the easier foods will give you, but it will sustain you longer, especially as you sleep.

As for micro-nutrients, vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, and all the vitamin B's tend to be quite good for recovery. My personal recommendation for recovery food is steak. You can fry it quite quickly, it is high in protein and fat, high in zinc, magnesium, and iron. I find that this coupled with a fruit and vegetable fresh smoothie (I recommend berries and kale, then either bananas or pineapple), pretty much will make you feeling great in no time.

Just my advice.

Both drugs deplete monoamines! Expect anhedonia and an over all shitty feeling associated with receptor depletion to follow. Eat right, sleep tight, and you'll be alright :)
