So I was rummaging through some old drawers and I found a bag full of medicine that my step brother brought from Argentina, most of it was crap but I came across this one blister pack for something called buscapina compositum. after some research i figured out that these pills contained 250mg of metamizole and 10mg of scopolamine. The wiki page for metamizole says it's a powerful analgesic but on other sites it says it's just an NSAID and it's nothing special. For the scolopamine, the wiki page says that it is used for heroin withdrawal in some second/third world countries. So...in conclusion, are these useful for anything at all? Catching a buzz?

No. Buscapina is the South American and Spanish brand name for Buscopan, scopolamine butylbromide, an antispasmodic drug used for abdominal cramps, IBS etc. Nothing like "real" scopolamine (and I would avoid that, too, unless a dentist gave me some Twilight Sleep... ;)). Buscapina Compositum usually has acetaminophen it, but I guess they use metamizole in Argentina.. wont get you high. Dig deeper in your brother's medicine stash :D
